Indiana Members Credit Union
Newburgh Location
The goal for the design of the new Indiana Members Credit Union branch in Newburgh was to expand on previous branches, while maintaining their corporate image. The project accomplished that with a modern, welcoming building that will serve the community for years to come.
The outside of the building features a brick façade and metal roof. Drive-thru banking is located on one side of the building, but instead of traditional tellers, it features ITMs, also known as interactive teller machines. These ITMs allow customers to connect virtually with tellers in Indianapolis. Another outdoor feature that makes this branch unique is a trail head for Warrick County Trails that sits between the two drives behind the credit union. It features a shade structure, benches, bike racks, a bike repair station and a drinking fountain that includes a bottle filler and a spicket for dogs.
Once walking inside, customers immediately notice the credit union’s rustic, timber look with vaulted ceilings. It features custom cabinetry and woodwork, as well as a café space that offers coffee, soda and fresh-baked cookies for customers.
