Deaconess Clinic

Felstead

Deaconess Clinic Felstead was born after it was determined the West side of Evansville needed additional office space to accommodate the growing health needs of this population. It was important for the facility to be located near residential areas to allow for ease of access to the clinic. Now complete, the new Deaconess Clinic Felstead expands services to additional patients and employers on the west side of the city and beyond.

The exterior of the facility was designed to complement existing Deaconess facilities with a mixture of white brick, dark grey metal siding, stone and wood. Inside, the new facility consists of 18 primary care exam rooms, 10 pediatric exam rooms, two treatment rooms, lab and imaging services and 8,500 sf of shell space for future expansion—all with durable finishes that follow the Deaconess standards. The design also incorporates a suite for Deaconess Clinic at Work, a near-site clinic offering services for employees that includes a dedicated nurse practitioner working from two exam rooms. To ensure the clinic had ample parking, nearly one million pounds of rock was excavated before construction began.

Recently complete, Deaconess staff and the Hafer design team are proud of the new facility. With a convenient location near the University of Southern Indiana and the Lloyd Expressway, Deaconess Clinic Felstead is a high-profile building that offers better access to quality healthcare for patients when they need it most.
