ProRehab

ProRehab was moving from their current location into a brand new facility which offered the chance to create their own custom space built to suit their unique needs. The new facility contains their business office located on the second level and the patient area on the first level.

Hafer talked with employees to understand their work processes in order to design a layout that compliments their way of working. The number one priority of ProRehab’s employees is the ability to monitor their patients at all times so the therapy gym was designed to be wide open and able to be viewed from every angle. A work island was centered in the middle featuring glass windows for acoustic privacy and allowing employees to work and observe patients in the therapy area at the same time. The casting room was located near the rear of the facility to eliminate noise disruption to patients. All of the exam rooms are located around the perimeter of the office.

Upon entering the building, patients are greeted with a bright, colorful atmosphere which has a positive effect on patients and staff. The interior features purple colors throughout emanating the ProRehab brand.

Patients enjoy the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake. The overall atmosphere provides patients a supportive, uplifting environment to complete their therapy. Likewise, employees are proud of the facility, too, especially because they feel as if they designed it.
