The Exchange

The Exchange’s new dual food restaurant at JBSA-Ft. Sam Houston provides a place where service members, family members and visitors can stop and recharge. The building provides two restaurants under one roof, Popeyes and Burger King.

This design was developed with the Exchange as a prototype location. It will be the design reference for future Exchange dual foods locations. It features a large seating area in the shared space between the two restaurants where diners can spread out comfortably. Two outdoor tables with umbrellas inspire diners to enjoy fresh air in their day. For both dining options, there is a drive-through lane for patrons who prefer to take their food to go. The back-of-house employee area enhances efficiency in serving customers and aids in maintaining its status as a timely and delicious dining option.

Service members and their families are glad to have more dining choices, especially ones that offer convenience.
