Staff Electrical Engineer

Zac grew up around the electrical contracting industry. His dad has been in the field for years and Zac worked as an electrician’s assistant as a summer job in college. That experience encouraged him to become an electrical engineer. He considers working at Hafer a dream job since the commercial industry is where he first encountered any sort of engineering and design.

Zac prides himself on being a “big-picture” guy. He sees problems from multiple angles, which helps him focus on the larger scope of a project. When working with clients, he takes on their problems as his own and is committed to solving each issue in the best way possible.

In his free time, Zac enjoys bourbon and playing golf, and hopes to travel and play the game around the world. He can typically be found spending time with his family, including his wife, Haley, their young daughters, Blaire and Caroline, and don’t forget about Gus the Aussiedoodle and Heidi the mini goldendoodle.
